Ian Jelf's Walking Tours for
Groups
"There's no better way of getting to know a
city, town or village than on foot."
As a professionally qualified Tourist Guide for the Heart of England
and for London, these are just some of the places where I can arrange
themed walks for groups.
Walks normally last between 90 minutes and 2 hours, although they can
usually be varied to suit particular circumstances and interests. The
walks are especially suitable for organised groups looking for something a
bit different, combining information with entertainment.
Other walks in various centres can also be arranged. E-mail ian@bluebadge.demon.co.uk
for more details and a price quotation.
Walking Tours in the Heart of England
In the delightful Heart of England, walking tours can be arranged in
the following areas:
- Around Birmingham, Britain's forward looking Second City, full of
surprises!
- In Shakespeare Country and Coventry, rightly renowned the world over
- In the Black Country, especially fascinating for those interested in
Industrial History
- In Worcestershire and Herefordshire, a land of cathedrals, music and
countryside
- In Staffordshire, a true county of contrasts
- In Shropshire, England's best-kept tourist secret
- In Gloucestershire, where the Midlands, West and Cotswolds meet and
mingle
Just click on the appropriate area to go to groups of walks offered
there.
Walking tours in London
As well as standard coach panoramic tours of London (albeit with a
certain "Ian Slant"!), I do a variety of walking tours in the
capital.
As always, going on foot is the best way of getting a proper view of
everything and seeing those places so many others miss.
