Walking tours in London

Secrets of the Square Mile
The real "City of London", covering an area of only just over
one square mile, is one of the most fascinating in Britain. A maze of
alleyways, impossibly overcrowded churches and ancient traditions, a walk
is truly the only way to discover it. A couple of hours allows visitors to
discover the ancient Guildhall, the outside of Saint Paul's Cathedral, the
Mansion House and several City Churches. We learn where true Cockneys are
born, hear of a mummified man and even a famous character from Pantomime.
There's nowhere like the City…….
Wonderful Westminster
For centuries home to Royalty and Government, Westminster has its own
distinct flavour, quite separate from the City of London. Our walk allows
us to see some of the most famous sites in the world: the Palace of
Westminster, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street and Whitehall. But there's
more: side streets and alleyways, ancient traditions and strange
terminology, the famous and the infamous. It's all in Westminster…….
A South Bank Stroll
Across the Thames from the London beloved of tourists is another
world. And yet this was the London of Chaucer, Shakespeare and
Dickens, a London of theatres (and brothels), of palaces (and prisons). In
short, a London that shouldn't be missed…….
